【摘要】:1.1ThisclassificationcoversameansforspecifyingMulti-LayerSteel(MLS)andotherMetalLayerGasketsforTransportationApplicationsbyapplicationandconstruction.Thesestructuresarecomposedofoneormoresteelormetallayersofmaterial,whichmayhavecoatingsorembossments.CommercialmaterialsdesignatedascompositeorenvelopedgasketsareexcludedfromthisclassificationandarecoveredbyClassificationF868andPracticeF336,respectively.1.2Sinceallofthepropertiesthatcontributetogasketperformancearenotincluded,useofthisclassificationasabasisforselectinganMLSorMetalLayergasketislimited.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
