【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcovers9%nickelsteelplates,double-normalizedandtempered,intendedparticularlyforweldedpressurevesselsforcryogenicservice.1.2Platesproducedunderthisspecificationaresubjecttoimpacttestingat320176;F[195176;C]oratsuchothertemperaturesasareagreedupon.1.3Themaximumthicknessofplatesislimitedonlybythecapacityofthematerialtomeetthespecificmechanicalpropertyrequirements;however,currentmillpracticenormallylimitsthismaterialto2in.[50mm]max.1.4Thismaterialissusceptibletomagnetization.Useofmagnetsinhandlingafterheattreatmentshouldbeavoidedifresidualmagnetismwouldbedetrimentaltosubsequentfabricationorservice.1.5Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
