【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsforpolyethylene(PE)pipeandfittingsfornonpressureroofdrainsystems.1.2Thisspecificationcoverspipeandfittingsintendedfornormalresidentialandcommercialusesandisnotintendedforuseinunusualcorrosiveconditions.Note18212;Beforeinstallingpipeforwastedisposaluse,theapprovalofthecognizantbuildingcodeauthorityshallbeobtainedasconditionsnotfoundinnormaluseortemperaturesapproaching140x00B0;F(60x00B0;C)maybeencountered.1.3Pipeisproducedindimensionsbasedonoutsidediametersof32mm(1.250in.)andlargerinaccordancewithSpecificationF714.1.4Theinterchangeabilityofpipeandfittingsmadebydifferentmanufacturersisnotaddressedinthisspecification.Transitionfittingsforjoiningpipeandfittingsofdifferentmanufacturersisprovidedforinthisspecification.1.5Pipeandfittingsarejoinedbytheheat-fusionmethod,bytheelectrofusionmethod,orbyusingmechanicaljoints(excludinginsertfittings)recommendedbythemanufacturer.1.6Inrefereedecisions,theSIunitsshallbeusedformetric-sizedpipeandinch-poundunitsforpipesizedintheIPSsystem(ANSIB36.10).Inallcases,thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.7Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethod,Section7,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
