【摘要】:1.1Thispracticedescribesproceduresfortestinggeonetproductsforchemicalresistancewithliquidwastes,preparedchemicalsolutions,orleachates,orboth,derivedfromsolidwastes.1.2Thispracticedescribestestmethodsformeasuringchangesinmass,dimensions,tensileandhydraulicpropertiesandotheroptionalphysicalandmechanicalpropertiescausedbyimmersionintestsolutions,whichmayberepresentativeofanticipatedenduseconditions.Thispracticemaybeusedtoassesstheextenttowhichaproduct''sas-manufacturedpropertiesareaffectedbysuchimmersion.1.3ThispracticeisintendedtobeusedinconjunctionwithPracticesD5322orD5496.Thescopeofthispracticeislimitedtotestingandreportingproceduresforunexposedandexposedgeonetsamples.1.4Evaluationorinterpretationoftestdataisbeyondthescopeofthispractice.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeSection7forspecifichazardsstatements.
