【摘要】:WithinthefieldofhealthinformaticsthisInternationalStandardaddressestheexchangeofdigitalimages,andinformationrelatedtotheproductionandmanagementofthoseimages,betweenbothmedicalimagingequipmentandsystemsconcernedwiththemanagementandcommunicationofthatinformation.ThisInternationalStandardisintendedtofacilitateinteroperabilityofmedicalimagingequipmentandinformationsystemsbyspecifying:-asetofprotocolstobefollowedbysystemsclaimingconformancetothisInternationalStandard.-thesyntaxandsemanticsofcommandsandassociatedinformationdatamodelsthatensureeffectivecommunicationbetweenimplementationsofthisInternationalStandard;-informationthatshallbesuppliedwithanimplementationforwhichconformancetothisInternationalStandardisclaimed.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecify:-theimplementationdetailsofanyfeaturesofthisInternationalStandardonadeviceorsystemsforwhichconformanceisclaimed;-theoverallsetoffeaturesandfunctionstobeexpectedfromalargersystemimplementedbyintegratingagroupofdevicesandsystemseachclaimingconformancetothisInternationalStandard;-atesting/validationproceduretoassessanimplementation'sconformancetothisInternationalStandard.Withinhealthinformatics,bothmedicalimagingsystemsandequipmentconcernedwiththemanagementandcommunicationofmedicalimagedatamayalsoberequiredtointeroperatewithsystemsinotherareasofhealthinformatics.Thecommunicationofthesedatawiththeseotherareasmaybeinthescopeofotherstandards.
